MM4 synch playlists
When I synch to a portable device, even though the tracks get synched, it doesn't seem like the playlists get sent to the device (if they are already there), nor do any playlists which are there, but no longer being synched, get deleted. i.e. the whole 'synch' things doesn't seem to apply to playlists (.m3u files), only the basic music (.mp3, .ogg, whatever) files. Maybe that's how it is supposed to work, but is seems strange to me.

Re: MM4 synch playlists
Works fine for me on iPod, d_iTunes plugin, and on a regular flash drive.
What device are you using? Any other details?

Re: MM4 synch playlists
Since updating to 4.0.3, my playlists are sent in the wrong format to my MTP device.
I have a Sansa Fuze, which has worked perfectly with MM since version 2.0. It doesn't recognize M3U playlists, but does recognize PLA playlists. Until the most recent update, Mediamonkey sent PLA lists. When I look at the folders on the device, I see the correct playlists I asked it to sync, but all in M3U format. This is a problem, obviously.
So...regression!

Re: MM4 synch playlists
Here's the fix: Deinstall 4.0.3 and reinstall 4.0.2.
Download 4.0.2 from the Support Center:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ds&_a=view
Back up your database, ini files, etc.:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ticleid=17
Deinstall 4.0.3 and install 4.0.2 and then restore your database, ini files, etc.
Also, under Options | Playlists, click the "Force relative paths" checkbox.
