Hang on bluetooth disconnect/reconnect

Post by keiths »

MediaMonkey Pro hangs fairly consistently on my Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 when my bluetooth headphones go out of range then reconnect, or if they are turned off and on again - It comes up with the windows whirling icon whenever the cursor impinges on the Monkeymedia window, and all that can be done is close the window and restart the application.. I tried with the debug version but could not find any log files to send...

Are you talking about the App or the Desktop version? Either way which version are you running?

Hi,
This is normal behavior when MMW looses Audio Playback device.

I've added this in http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=13145 in order to analyze things better.

Can you tell me are BT headphones full 4.0 or 4.1 version support and do they have power saving mode using BT low power transmission protocol?
Best regards,

BT V3 I guess - headphones are https://www.7dayshop.com/products/7days ... AYHEADBAND. I'll try with something a little more current!

Also occurs with Bluetooth 4 headphones like 'http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00Y ... 9OFZCWVEF4' but marked Sonibeat.
Problem does not occur using Windows Media Player, which just carries on playing, does not seem to switch to any other output, and reconnects when headphones are switched on again (if gone out of range for long enough, it needs phones switched off/on again to reconnect/work). Unusual for me to find a MS product working better than another :D
