MM4W 4.1.29.1909
Now when using this option, I get 2109 files not imported.
On investigation this version seems to be reporting the JPG / TXT / THM / BMP / GIF / INI / PDF / PNG / XLS files in the "music" folders.

Add / Rescan Files Into Library
Would it help to send a copy of the file "Media Monkey Scan Log" in support of this observation?
If so how / where to send.

Re: Add / Rescan Files Into Library [#16738]
Thanks for quick response. I have tried to include a screen image:
Perhaps the only thing that needs to change is the text on the attached dialogue screen:
"Did not import 2108 files (did not match import criteria)"
to something like:
"Did not import 2108 files (e.g. non-music / media files like artwork, text, documents)
Use the Save log button to review the files not imported"
It might be quite useful to notify the user of these files for a number of reasons including:
1). File(s) might have incorrect file type / extension
2). Files might be redundant and removing with help performance(?)
3). Text / information file might be better placed in tags
Personally, I don't have a big issue with this change be it planned or accidental as the information returned was moderately useful.

Hi,
I agree it can be more verbose.
Non-handling files should not be listed,
Maybe an additional LOg Dialog would be Good to show what and and why it failed.
Suggestions?
