Nano G5 and MM

Post by grobi2011 »

I bought a new iPod Nano (G5) with integrated camera. When I try to sync MM 3.1.2166 with the nano, the mp3 will sync and shown in MM.
But when I look in the Music Folder of the nano display, there is nothing. In the german forum Xantus mentioned the same issue.

Any help???

TMK MediaMonkey does not support the iPod Nano G5.

Right, this is currently the only model that isn't supported at all. One testing device is just being delivered to me, so you can expect support in MM to be implemented very soon, probably in about 2 weeks.

Can anyone tell me the status of MM's whizzes programmers support for the newish Nano G5? Bought one without checking here first - silly me. From what I've read, I assume it is a radically different beast to my Nano G4 (which MM supports beautifully!). I did try the latest beta with the new ipod dll and that didn't work as the 5G couldn't see anything sync'd.

It should be working with latest beta version build 1272. For more info check the beta-testing section of this forum.

Installed the latest beta (1272), reset the Nano G5, then sync'ed a few music tracks, an audiobook and a few podcasts and while MM said is synced fine and I could see all the tracks from MM on the Nano, the Nano said there was nothing there. zip.
