I have File-Monitor set up to watch a certain folder, where new MP3 songs appears, but which also contains some other data (set to Read-Only).
After having imported new MP3's from the folder, Mediamonkey tries to delete the folder, (which isn't empty!), thus locking it for the system, and other programs to acces, i.e. the rest of the MP3 files, can't be written to the folder..
I do not want Mediamonkey to not delete empty folders, but I DO want it to stop deleting folders that aren't.
I find this to be quite a serious bug!
Mediamonkey v. 3.1.1.1261
Windows 7 Pro RTM X64 (does the same in XP PRO 32 bit)

Re: File Monitor Deletes Non-Emptied Folders
Are you sure it is file monitor that is causing the problem? What steps are you using? I tried it with some read only files and MM only adds the music files, it does not delete the files or folder. By chance are you using the Tools - Options - Library - Auto-Organize - feature? Do you have the option to auto-organize and delete empty folders checked??

Test it in 1271. It should be fixed.

Thanks. I see why I couldn't find it by "Fixed in build" filter - it doesn't have a "Fixed in build", just "Fixed in version". If anyone knows its fix build, it would be good to add, I suggest.

If you're implying that it was changed since your last post, I beg to differ - the history indicates "Fixed in build 1268" was entered on September 22.chrisjj wrote: So do I... now. Thanks.
