While most flv are handled well now, very few flv still cause serious problems.
How to reproduce:
a.: Navigate to the folder containing the flv in the "My Computer" node.
Symptoms:
100% CPU-load for a long time.
MM crashes without warning
or produces a bug report "The application seems to be frozen" and crashes.
b. Add/rescan the folder containing the problematic flv.
Symptoms:
100% CPU-load for a long time.
No crashing, but after a long while reporting "imported 0 new files"
Here is a URL to one of the problematic flv:
http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo ... servitude/
or direct link:
http://www.disclose.tv/files/videos/vid ... lv?start=0
Mediainfo reports nothing special about these files: Flash Video H263/Mp3
[Edit): Playing ok with MPC and VLC
[Edit] How to fix the flv:
Open it with avidemux. Choose copy (audio/video) and correct format (flv) and save video. Problems gone. Worked with all files here.
