When I rate a Now Playing song, it rewinds.

Post by jamburglar »

Basically, when I rate the song that is currently playing, it rewinds back a second or two and then resumes playing. This is consistent, meaning I've been able to reproduce the problem every single time.

This should be fixed in the latest build.

I've had the same problem, and so did others. I'm using 1457 currently and it's been fixed in that build.

I want to join to what is written. I also encountered this problem when I put MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1459. For example, in RC1 was not the problem.
Progress is discharged into play regardless of the used output plug-ins. Works well only with a standard MP3 decoder.
Now I use "in_! Mpg123.dll" (formerly "Shibatsh mp123") to decode MP3 and "out_ds_ssrc.dll" for audio output.
MAD plugin posted on the this site does not work as needed.

This bug has disappeared yesterday, but reappeared today.
It's weird, and I don't find obvious reasons.

I reported this during the beta but it is not consistently reproducible by the devs and they can no longer reproduce it in the latest builds. I still have the problem consistently as do you, but if I set the Windows Default Sample Format to 16-bit 44.1KHz, the problem goes away...
