How do I rename a track deleting only the final with auto-tagging from file name
example: (original) 01.aaaa - bbbbb - ccccc - dddd (final) aaaa - bbbb
Is there a way to auto change the properties of a track only dragging the track into the specific folder like WMP
I have a folder with radio sessions and all the time I have to edit the info of the tracks
example: track one with no name artist or album info drag into a folder with other tracks with the name artist, the album info, image etc

1. I don't understand what you mean. Are you trying to rename the track filename? For that you would use auto-organize, not auto-tag from filename.
2. Yes, just click and drag the track to any artist/album/genre/ etc. in the tree. It will update that field with the one that you drag it to.

Re: Renaming and change properties
Dragging the file doesn't work.
The file is in the same folder but has different properties so the mm4 separates them horizontally (the view is arranged by summary) if I drag it into the image or above the other files I would expect it to catch the artist name, album and image and conjugate the file with the others like wmp but it doesn't work.
I guess that I'm doing something wrong or the program doesn't have what I want but thanks anyway for the help.

It does, but you're dragging it to the wrong place. You should be dragging the track to applicable album/artist/genre/rating/etc. node in the media tree (on the left hand side of MM).nigmas wrote:Dragging the file doesn't work.
