I have the free Standard version 4.1.4.1719 I am unable to convert files in my library that are in WAV format to MP3. There doesn't seem to be any problems with the files or the library. Every time I attempt to convert I receive the following error message: Failed to get data for ‘InstallDate’
I have no idea what that refers to. I can't find any references in the help or knowledgebase. Can someone tell me what this is about? I wondered if it is disabled on the Standard version.
Thanks beforehand,
Help!
Unable to convert WAV files to MP3

Re: Unable to convert WAV files to MP3
MP3 encoding is limited to 30 days in the free version: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... -unlimited The error would seem that it can't verify when you installed.

Re: Unable to convert WAV files to MP3
Go to regedit and delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MediaMonkey"

Re: Unable to convert WAV files to MP3
Thanks, it worked great!!
I wonder why there is no mention of it in the Knowledge Base.
To Rip MP3 files I will need to buy gold after 30 days?

Re: Unable to convert WAV files to MP3
Or use Exact Audio Copy to rip, convert wav to MP3 etc, and use MM to manage your library. Which is what I do
