is a screenshot of me searching for the track that is playing, so it obviously exists, with no success.
This happened on my Nexus 4, and now on my freshly installed Nexus 6. It is consistent with this particular song; others are fine. The song *does* come up in the completion dialog if I wait long enough.

Search bug? [#13038]

Re: Search bug?
The fact that it's playing doesn't mean it's in the Library. Only files in the Library can be searched.
Is the problem only when the file is playing?

Re: Search bug?
I forgot to mention that if I search by the artist's name, the song shows up just fine.
And no, it's not just when the song is playing.
Every song on here was synced into MMA from MMW

Re: Search bug?
I noticed some issues with MMA Search earlier today while I was out and about. A search for "Royal" returned no results (although they showed in the "drop-down") when it should have found three titles. Thinking that search didn't work in this fashion, conducted a follow-up search for another title and it correctly found the two titles it should have. In playing around with it again just now, I had a third search find three of the four titles it should have and that got me to digging deeper. Do these omitted results have something in common? They don't have Album or Album Artist data entered.
I'm not certain if it's due to the missing Album/Album Artist data or if it's a mere coincidence, but I can consistently reproduce these findings. Each search ran is missing tracks that it should otherwise not, and again, the one thing I've noticed they have in common is this missing data.
@rlpowell - Does the example you provided in your initial post contain Album and/or Album Artist data?

Re: Search bug?
Oh, wait... Yeah, you're right. In MWA, it has an album artist ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/crvmfc4ymb6cl ... 2.png?dl=0 ). So, dunno what's up.rlpowell wrote:https://www.dropbox.com/s/dgp2w2ixd0gzy ... 4.png?dl=0 -- So I think it's not the same issue? Searching by artist name works fine.

Re: Search bug?
Seeing as your latest screenshots seem to support my theory, I have entered this into the bug tracker so hopefully the Devs can get this sorted soon. 0013038: Tracks omitted from search results
Re: Search bug? [#13038]
This should be fixed in 547+

Re: Search bug? [#13038]
Can you confirm whether you're using a build prior to 547 and that updating to build 547+ solves the problem?
Thanks.
