Where Have All The Great Skinners Gone?

There used to be some great skinners releasing amazing skins, but it seems that we don't see many new skins anymore.
It is great to change to a new skin from time to time, but I haven't seen a new skin in a long time.

If I was artistic, I would try to do some myself.
But sadly, it is not my area of expertise.

I've been wondering the same thing. Haven't seen any new skins to speak of

I am here but I've done 23 or so skins and stopped to allow others to make them.

I appreciate the sentiment, however feel free to create a new skin at anytime. Mind you, after having a fiddle with skins myself I understand the effort required.

Have been using Vision for ages, however I would love to see a new black or very dark skin available.

I've made one skin so far, not sure if that qualifies me for the title "great skinner", but maybe skinner at least. Right now I'm busy building a new house. When that is done, I have new ideas of making new skins

. (By the way: there will be a media(monkey) room in the house. The plan includes acoustic actions in the room; I think that is even more important than having super expensive electronics.

Considering 4K/UHD displays increasing popularity it would be perfect if some skins suitable for that range of DPI were accessible...

Any thoughts on whether the player idea works? Meant to look a little bit like android phone player and doubles up as the float player. Still a work in progress.

@Stigg Still playing around with the different player idea and thought that a small float player with a slide-out might be nice. That led to this

BOTTOM DRAWER OPEN

SIDE DRAWER OPEN

BOTH DRAWERS OPEN

Only really suitable for use in the side panel. Not sure if it would have any appeal. What do you think?

I am not sure if I would use a floating player, but the slide-outs look good.
