WIFI Syncing very slow [#15907]

WiFi sync needs improvement. I recently upgraded to a 256GB SanDisk Ultra microsd card from a 32GB card. I'm in the middle of syncing about 81GB of music. The WIFI syncing seems to pause for extended periods of time and even when it's not paused it's slow. I know my device can transfer data much faster because I've seen it with other APPs.

Currently using MMA beta. MMW 4.1.25.1886

Sorry, I assumed based on your signature that you are using MMA Pro 1.3.1.0708 and not the latest Beta.

Please create MM debug log as described at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... ?f=21&t=69 till WiFi sync starts to slow down and 10-50 while it slows down. After that you can cancel Sync and use MMA ... -> About MediaMonkey to send us also MMA log that accompany MMW log.

Not it will easy to Send us compressed (ZIP) MMW log file and MMA Log ID if you open support ticket as that way we would have all the info in one place and would make it easier for us to analyze.

No worries. I forgot to update it as well as put the correct information in there.
I'm currently at the first debug part using DBUGView. What do you mean by "10-50 while it slows down"?

Ludek says possible device limitation. What, exactly, do they mean by that?
Both my notebook (ASUS G73JW) and my handy (Samsung A6) are connected to a 5Ghz network. The handy is connected @150Mbps and the notebook is connected @ 866Mbps.

RE: Speed Test/Device limitation.
I just did a test transfer of 12 files, not using MMA/MMW. Total of 64Mb. It took about 5s to transfer them from my computer to my Android phone,using Samsung Flow, their transfer file utility.

I just experimented with MMA (beta, latest update) on a Pixel 2 XL which has nice fast wifi. I did not time it but it took hours and hours, about 6-8 at least, to do 59Gb and about 3000 tracks. That just seems obscenely slow.

I had to stop it because it filled up the device (had too many photos that competed). But was quite surprised by the slow speed.

Done tests Today on Moto X4, 5Ghz WiFi connection aprox 120-175Mbit (WiFi -> Advanced -> Link Speed), files are on NAS (4Gbit Connection to LAN 1Gbit to PC running MMW):
Es-file explorer Pro Directly from NAS transfer around 5-7MB/s eg. 2-4s per file
MMW Sync (double hops) 4-6MB/s eg. 3-5s per file.

Test Note: I cut X4 MAC from accessing Internet (MikroTik), Airplane Mode (WiFi Forced ON) so I think it is fairly reasonable. PC <-> NAS transfer Rates are 105-120MB/s

Can you confirm that auto-conversion was disabled for your tests (it could affect transfer speeds)?

I can confirm no conversions are happening, it is raw WiFi Transfer speeds based on Connection speed, Quality of connection, How many other WiFi networks are available in same channel channel size (bandwidth size). It simply can't go faster due the hardware and link limitations. In my case there is nothing wrong with MMA or MMW/MM5. Simple Wired and Direct sync thru SDCard reader is much faster.

Linwood, is even more competent to confirm this than I, due to his better knowledge of LAN/WLAN infrastructure and inner workings. Right?
