USB-Kabel-Synchronisation mit MMW

Nach der Synchronisation fehlen mir in MMA 30 "Tracks". Nach langer Sucherei komme ich zu folgendem Ergebnis:
MMW: ich habe 30 Musiktitel als Typ "Music" und Genre "Classical"

MMA: diese 30 "Tracks" wurden geändert auf Typ "Classical"
WELCH EIN UNSINN.

Der USER bestimmt, was Musiktyp "Classical" ist, und NICHT MediaMonkey.
Ändert das in MMA und MMW !!! - Danke

After the synchronization I miss 30 "tracks" in MMA. After a long search, I come to the following result:
MMW: I have 30 songs as type "Music" and genre "Classical"

MMA: these 30 "tracks" have been changed to type "Classical"
What a nonsense.

The USER determines what type of music is "Classical" and NOT MediaMonkey.
Changes that in MMA and MMW !!! - Thank you

To be honest, was not sure what to answer as you pointed exactly the same problem as in bug #15333.

Till we loosen a grip from Google Media Scanner it is bit hard to improve things. Once MM 2.0 gets out I would review this and see what else is missing

The problem is simply this: when a file is added to the library MM automatically changes the type of that file based on some internal criteria. I am not sure of all these criteria but one is that when you add a file to the library that has it's genre tagged in such a way that it includes the phrase 'classical' MM will give this file Type=Classical.

That is a very bad thing and also extremely obnoxious. I want to manage my library the way I want to and I do not want software to make these decisions for me. I don't want to have any files set with Type=Classical. And most certainly not music files that aren't even in the classical genre, but simply influenced by classical music, like Neoclassical for instance. As it is now every time I add a file to my library I have to consider it's genre and if that contains the phrase 'classical' manually change the type of that file back from Classical to Music.

It's fine for MM to have the option to sort these automatically but it's not ok for it to do so without the user wanting it. It should be something that can be flagged to set or not

What does Google Media Scanner have to do with MMW? NOTHING!

Since the MMW version 4.1.24.1883, files are changed to type 3 when reading in due to various genres (classical) and thus disappear from the "Music" collection.
Now I have changed some music types from 3 to 1 in MMW4 with Genres (Classical).

USB cable synchronization on my Huawei mate P20 Pro:
with these 3 files the type on my cell phone is changed back to 3. For me it is clear, ONLY MMW changes the target file from type 1 to 3. (Look: 0015333)
