Sync Now | Enable WiFi doesn't enable WiFi

I had manually disabled WiFi. When I tried to Sync Now, it asked me to Enable WiFi. It just says "Enabling Wif-Fi. Please wait..." forever and it is not enabled on my phone.

Galaxy S9 with latest OS updates

Hi,
MMA was not allowed to Change Connection settings so it stays on enabling? Do Message disappear if you enable WiFi from Notification manually?

Yes, if I manually enable it, the sync continues.

Hi,
Then it is OK as MMA is actually not allowed to enable WiFi on your device. I tried and it enabled on my tablet.
