I have multiple PCs that I use to listen to my music on - the source files being stored on my NAS. I can listen to music from the NAS across multiple devices.
When I create a playlist on PC#1 I have two choices of how to listen to it on PC#2. I can either export it, save it as a file on my NAS and play it by opening it from the source File Explorer folder on PC#2. NB: I can see the playlist as an imported playlist (I sync my music from the NAS folder 'Music' and have created one entitled 'My Playlists' where I store all my exported M3U playlists) but, strangely, there are no files in there, just the header title.
The mapped address is correct and the mapped drives are the same name on both PCs, which is why (I guess) the playlist plays perfectly if I just double click on it from File Explorer (I have MM as my default program for M3U files). Or, I can play it from the Media Monkey Library Server, where the playlist is displayed and plays well.
But, if I create a playlist on PC#2 and now want to play it on PC#1 (or sync to my mobile device) I can't see it anywhere other than PC#2 where I created it.
So, my question is - how can I create Playlists on PC#2 and then see them on PC#1?
Thx in advance for your help.

Hi,
You need to export playlists from PC2 and re scan folder on PC1 that would import Playlist and then play them.
You need to pay attention that path in plalists can be accessed on both PCs (double click on both to se eif they play)

Re: How to sync playlists created on multiple computers
Hi, is this still the only way to do this?
Reminder: I have my music on a NAS that I access from multiple computers. If I create a playlist on my MM install on one computer I am not able to see those playlists on the second computer, even though I can see the music library. Rather than exporting, then importing, playlists is there a way I can have both computers reference the playlists (for example, save them on the NAS)? I've been trying to sort this for a long time without luck.

No, MediaMonkey stores Playlists in its database. So, although you can export/import Playlists they are then managed from the database and not from the Playlist files.
You can use Media Sharing, where 1 MediaMonkey acts as Server and other MediaMonkey's (and any DLNA capable client for that matter) can access the Library including Playlists.
It's in early stages of development, but there is also this: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 31&t=90809 It can run on a NAS directly, but for will require MediaMonkey 5 to access.
