tag edits in MMA are not synced back to MMW

I sometimes edit files in MMA on my phone when I see that the tag info is incorrect. However, when I then try to sync them back to Windows over wifi, not only to the files not get synced, but the changes are also reverted on the phone - where would be the problem here? Thanks

In the Device Profile in MMW there is a setting to auto-sync file metadata from device to PC. Which is not enabled by default.

so it seems as if MMA is not saving my edits to the file. when I edit the tags, and then copy the mp3s from the sdcard to my computer and look at their tags, they are unchanged. however, in the library in MMA they are changed

Tag synchronization MMA -> MMW:
YES: Title, Album, Rating
NO: Artist (s), Genre, Composer (s)
Sometimes YES, Sometimes NO: Played/PlayCounts, Release date

Better metadata bi-di sync is addressed in MMA 2.0 and should be improved further once MM5 gets out and we start MMA 2.0 testing.

MMA doesn't save tag edits to the files, but a sync between MMA and MMW will sync the changes back to MMW and have MMW save the tag edits to the files.

Hinzu kommt noch, auch die Synchronisation der Playlisten MMW=>MMA funktioniert nicht ohne Probleme.

MM5 is getting into last stages of development and then MMA 2.0 should be actively developed because 70% of MMA 2.0 will work with MM5+ and MM4 will only support basic functions on MMA 1.x level.
