Share with... not working. Shows no media pop up

I used to be able to click share with on a song or group of songs and it would pop up the android share menu with some apps i had installed like mp3 editors, dropbox etc.
I tried it again recently and I get a quick little pop up that says "No Media". I don't remember the last time I used the feature before this but I know I have many times over the years.

I am on a note 8 running Android pie on Media Monkey for Android Version 1.3.5.0858 and all of my music is on my SD Card.

It's working fine here (1.3.5.0860). Have you tried a device restart?

Yes, it hasn't worked in few weeks. I'm going to completely uninstall and delete the music and let it sync back up and will report.

I just noticed I have the same issue. Has there been any solution or pointer towards how to remedy?

Checked again, and it works just fine here. Where in the process does it fail and what App are you trying to share to?

I can share songs from my internal memory .. songs on the SD card will throw an error .. it's some version of file not found
