Hello, new to MM here.
A few difficulties I'm having with migrating my iTunes library over to MM.
The first is when I scan my music directory. It scans about 31,000 songs (everything) but once the scan is complete I only have about 6000 songs in my library.
The second is I would like to add the 'date added' metadata from iTunes. I looked up about the script online but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. The script section of MM website says to download the script but it's only a bunch of text?
Thank you in advance!

If it's this (https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... or-itunes/) Addon, make sure you rename the extension back to .mmip if your browser changed the extension: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/ind ... ns--addons
For scanning make sure all the applicable File Type(s) are enabled in the Add/Rescan Files dialog and all the applicable locations are scanned. Could the missing files be DRM protected iTunes purchases? Also: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... elp:#Notes

Ah it seems there is no option for .AIFF files? That's probably why they're all missing, most of my files are in that format. Is there a way to add that functionality? Had a look online but I could only really find a thread from 2017 saying it's being worked on, but cannot actually find the addon.Lowlander wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 11:28 am For scanning make sure all the applicable File Type(s) are enabled in the Add/Rescan Files dialog and all the applicable locations are scanned. Does MM support .aiff files?
I purchased MM to burn HD audio to DVD...the HD file format I have is .aiff, however, I do not see that file extension listed in "File Types" in the Add/Rescan Folders....can you help with this?
