DB Question: Path?

DB Question: Path?
Hi, I am trying to understand the MM database, and there is one thing I don't get. In MM5 the path is shown like "C:\Users\Chris\...". But in the database table Songs, field SongPath, it looks like this: ":\Users\Chris\...", the "C" is missing. But somehow MM knows that it's "C", so where is this information stored?
Re: DB Question: Path?
The drive is stored separately and MediaMonkey uses the driveID instead and should be in the Medias table.

Re: DB Question: Path?
Thank you! And DriveLetter in Medias is the ascii value of the drive letter minus 65. In my case 2 for C and 23 for X. I'd really like to know what's the idea behind that. Only to confuse the Russians I assume.
Re: DB Question: Path?
Reason is that ASCII value Printable Table and Uppercase letters start from 65 decimal, so 26 drive letters.
