Panel sizes not saving

Panel sizes not saving
Hi - I'm using Media Monkey 5.0.3.2627 with the Metro M (Classic) skin. I set the size of the panels and each time I open the programme it resets the panel sizes to the default sizes. How do I save my settings

Install the following addon: Refresh Skin Shortcut 1.0.2

EDIT: Sorry, that's a wrong hint.

Do you close MM5 before shutting down your computer?
I think that settings are saved during the normal termination of MM5.

Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
Re: Panel sizes not saving
Thanks but the add-in did not work and the screen layout is not saving when I simply close down the application. It is not remembering the screen layout settings and keeps just resetting them back defaults.
Remembering screen configurations is a basic function of any application and I'm surprised I'm having such issues with an application in this day and age!
I'm now wondering what benefits MM5 is giving me, as the whole application is now slower to access, especially in tree view and every time I load the app I have to reset all the panes in the view to be able to use the product in the way I want.
I'm sorry to say that after 15 years of using MM I'm now starting to look for another product that gives me the media player I need - which actually MM4 did!

Re: Panel sizes not saving
Using 5.0.4.2657 beta version and Metro classic as well as material design skins, these settings appear to save on exit.
Consensus is that these betas are quite stable, you might want to try that.
However, I don't recall any issues with saving layout in 5.0.3 versions either.
Is this a normal or portable installation?

Same issue here since 5.0.3.2627
How can I download 5.0.4.2657 beta version? I could only find alpha version.
Thx

Re: Panel sizes not saving
Sorry - this issue still isn't solved in 5.0.4.2690.
The specific problem relates to the size of the Preview Panel. As I play lots of music videos via MM I need this to be large and also remain a specific size when I log out as I prefer to play videos with other MM information alongside, such as the now playing window and playlist information.
Every time I shut the application down it resizes the preview window to a small size. I've even tried deleting the ini file, but this did not seem to resolve the issue.

Re: Panel sizes not saving
In which way are you making it larger? Taller, wider or maximized within the MediaMonkey window itself?

Re: Panel sizes not saving
I enlarged my preview window to about half of my screen size, played a video, and closed MM5.
When I re-opened MM5 the window was still at half screen.
While playing, one click on the square icon top-right of the preview enlarges it to full screen.
If this is not happening for you, is there any reason MM can't write to its app-data folder?
Do other settings such as displayed columns save for you?
