MM5.0.4.2690 Windows removes leading "..." (dots)

Post by FrankMusic »

MM5.0.4.2690 Windows removes leading "..." (dots) in the name when using the functions such as CD-RIP, move, etc.
As a result, the album "\Phil Collins\...But Seriously", for example, is incorrectly filed under "\Phil Collins\But Seriously".
In Windows, the only characters are \ / : * ? " < > | are not allowed for file names.
There is therefore no reason to remove dots from names. :(
Earlier versions did not contain this problem.

This is done on purpose as this would lead to hidden files on Linux systems. As most NAS run on this it would affect a lot of users.

Note that is set in the [FilenameMappings] section in the MediaMonkey.ini.
