Gap between songs

Gap between songs
I need a gap/pause between songs, the option for the player : gap 10s ----- fade 10s seems to do that, but doesn't work.
Do anybody have a solution ?
(In MM4 we had a script : silence between songs)
Thanks

Re: Gap between songs
Did you enable this for the correct Type as this is set per Type in MediaMonkey?
I've tried and it works here for me.

Re: Gap between songs
I did it for Type MUSIK first, than for all.
I doesn't work, the playlist continues without an gap.

Re: Gap between songs
1) Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?
2) What Output Plugin are you using?
3) What File Types are you playing
4) Are you playing files stored on the local internal drive or elsewhere?

Re: Gap between songs
I'm unable to reproduce. The gap is present on both WASAPI and DirectSound and the Spacebar Hotkey also works on both.
For the Spacebar hotkey, try clicking on the Player first. Does it still fail in that scenario?
What config do you have for the WASAPI plugin? Do you have exclusive mode and all other options disabled (if not try this)?

Re: Gap between songs
Thanks for trying to help...
I have disabled all, as you told me, but :
The gap only works in DirectSound output.
The Spacebar do not work in both modes.
Another things is, I miss the "MM4-nonskinned",
When working a lot on albums, Tags, Genre, a clear, simple skin would help.
Thank you so much

Re: Gap between songs
1) What file type(s) are playing without gap with WASAPI?
2) Did you check Tools > Options > Hotkeys to make sure Space is set as hotkey for Playback: Play/Pause?

Re: Gap between songs
In both, WASAPI and MM DirectSound the Spacebar is set to Start/Stop.
Actually I use DirectSound, cause the GAP only works there.
I checked it all this morning again....
Thanks

Re: Gap between songs
I have only mp3 files.
Re: Gap between songs
Both things work for me when tested. Can you please capture both issues in separate debug logs (step 4b) and attach each log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643
This will help a developer analyze why this fails on your setup.

Re: Gap between songs
I check some things :
-the gap between songs only works with MM-Directsound
-spacebar : propertiers Hotkeys : select spacebar for Start/Stop does not work
but I created a new hotkey, Start/Stop -> Spacebar then it works
I do not know if that helps you to find out, what was/is wrong
So many thanks for help...

Re: Gap between songs
No, we can't reproduce the missing gap, so a debug log would be needed to analyze why it fails on your setup.

Re: Gap between songs
I don't know how to create a debug.log
if, from 'not working' ASAPI ?
