Is there a way to adjust MM5 sensitivity on Windows 11?

1% volume is fine, but 2% volume is far too loud, and the remaining 98% seems to be useless not to mention that mouse scroll will push it from loud to ear damaging loud.

Any way to make volume control like in every other app? VLC, Winaamp, etc

Solved issue by switching to DirectSound output from WASAPI.

But forum posts say "WASAPI - this is a lot better than DirectSound as it provides less latency (usually between 10ms and 30ms) so it's more suitable to real-time use. It also provides access to both inputs and outputs and multiple channels (if it's properly configured in Windows)" so it seems I'm stuck with worse experience
