Autoplay on Bluetooth connect not working (in the latest release)?

I am using MediaMonkey 2.0.0.1086 on Android 11 (actually OxygenOS 11.1.2.2). Under Settings -> Playback, under Remote controls, there is a feature named "Resume play on connection," which currently says "Don't automatically resume playback upon connecting an audio device."

But whenever I turn my Bluetooth headset on MediaMonkey starts playing wherever I left off last time with the music I was listening to. I am currently using the free version. Is this a bug?

Hi,
If you click on that Option is BT headset unchecked. If Yes as soon as MM starts auto playback use ☰ -> ? -> Send Logs -> Write log ID here and submit reply -> Tap OK to send log to us.

It will tell us if Headset sends Media Play command on connection.

Based on the log, MMA Options > Playback > Resume play on connection is not enabled for Bluetooth devices!

Some bluetooth devices may initiate playback automatically on connection, but for it to always work, you need to enable this option.

Based on the log, the "Play" action was triggered from the remote device.
MMA correctly handles this valid action.
The important thing is that the playback was not initiated by the MMA, which is correct according to the MMA settings.

The only way to prevent this is if the device's settings have the ability to disable it.
