Android Auto disconnect issue

Post by allvodi »

Lately I've noticed that MM fails to stop playing a track after it's been disconnected from AA. One has to manually stop the play on the phone.

Which Build of MMA are you experiencing this with? Are any other Bluetooth devices connected to the phone when this happens?

I'm using 2.0.0.1100
No. There are no other devices connected to the phone other than the car. The app is playing on Android Auto and when I unplug the cable to the car the music continues to play on the phone.

Please send a debug log from MMA right after this happens and post the logID here.

Bug reporting is too clumsy. I've posted the log, don't have time to "wrirte down" the long log ID. Sorry.

Hi, I just tested this with build 1102 and cannot replicate.

We were able to track down your log from build 1100, and it shows that MMA was paused transiently by some other app that took focus (e.g. an alarm), and that you disconnected a couple of seconds later. What we think happened is that the timing of the disconnect so close to the time when the other app released focus thereby caused playback to become unpaused, resulted in playback resuming on disconnect.

Is it still occurring for you and if yes, does it occur consistently?

Thanks!
