Some ID3 tag info not being added

I'm using MM5 Lifetime Gold 5.0.4.2690 in Windows Explorer the year is entered for the album, but once I import it into MM5 the year is not added.

Edit: Sometimes MM5 removes all the tag info.

I didn't know that, I should have paid attention to that—honestly IDK. What I do know is the file is the name of the artist, and inside is another file with the album. when imported to MM5 I get unknown\unknown\this.mp3 which messes things up when importing 3 or more artists.

It sounds like you're talking about folder/filenames instead of tags. That would require Infer Properties to be enabled.

You can manually fix this with Auto-Tag from Filename.
