No Genre

I was using MMA with no problem. Uninstalled app and deleted all music and playlist. Installed MMA Pro and MMA and granted access to SD card for everything. I then did a USB Sync for several of my genre of music, but when I go into mediamonkey on my phone all the tracks and artist are there, but no genre info. When I click Genre it says no media. What am I doing wrong

Try to do a single WiFi Sync and see if MMA library gets Genre info?
