I'm a MediaMonkey Gold 5 newbie and I want to synchronize my PC-Library to my Android (SD card). Initial attempts over WiFi worked very well, but since my media collection is very large it doesn't fit entirely on the SD card, so i was looking for a way to configure a selection, in other words "sync only my favorite albums".
In MediaMonkey for Android V. 2.0.0.1173 the sync-settings offer the option to "choose" "Server content". When selecting "Music" there are 8 items (from 'source' to 'rating') that i could define as a filter. So I can sync all albums with five stars or all albums from one folder, but that`s not, what I want.
My preferred solution would be, to use one of the 10 custom tags, i.e. "sync all albums with custom tag 1 set to 'favorite'".
Unfortunately, custom tags are not included in the list.
A workaround could be to specify two source folders and only one (with my favorites) is synced and I will pay attention, that this folder is not too big for the destination. The disadvantage is, that my original music collection on the PC will be split into two folders.
My question: does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Any suggestion is welcome!

AutoPlaylists are the solution as they're Criteria based.

Re: sync PC-Library to Android and configure selection
Thanks for your suggestion.
I tried that, but unfortunately it didn't work.
MediaMonkey Android always synchronizes the selected library and _optional_ playlists. I haven't found a way to deselect library synchronization and only synchronize the tracks in a specific playlist.
In addition, all 8 filter settings that can be made in MediaMonkey Android (music) would then be superfluous.

Re: sync PC-Library to Android and configure selection
You can select only a couple Playlists, no need to select any Collection.
