Hi everyone,
I’m having a bit of trouble with setting up auto-playlists and could use some advice. I want to create an auto-playlist that includes tracks from specific genres and artists but also excludes any songs that are already in other playlists.
Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:
Include Tracks from Specific Genres: I want the playlist to pull in songs from genres like Rock and Jazz.
Filter by Artists: Only include tracks from a selected list of artists.
Exclude Songs Already in Other Playlists: Ensure that any track that is already part of another playlist does not appear in this new auto-playlist.
I’ve set up some basic rules but am struggling to get the exclusion part working correctly. Is there a way to configure these settings effectively, or are there specific filters or criteria I should be using?
Any guidance or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best,

Re: Help Needed: Customizing Auto-Playlists
What have you setup so far as Criteria in the AutoPlaylist?
You'd set Match to All, and Criteria to:
- Genre equals x, y, z
- Artist equals a, b, c
= Playlist is not 1, 2, 3
