There is no file manager installed...[#21163]

Post by der_kai »

I can't access the folders because apparently there is no file manager installed. But I have installed the file manager from Google. MM and File Manager have access rights.
What can I do?

Hi,
Is MM asking access to Internal or SDcard Storage?

If you are able to get back to MM main screen can you please use ☰ -> ? -> Send Logs -> Write log ID or make screenshot -> Send The log -> Write down log ID here -> Send reply so that we can pair it with log id and see why Orbsmart P32 is requesting access and fail.

Pictures doesnt work...
First I have to grant any folder.
The upcomming message is "There is no file manager installed capable of granting folder access. Please install Files by Google."
But, Files is installed.

Hi,
Where did you wrote Debug log ID before sending? We need it in order to isolate it from others and specifically check for reported issues.

Hi, logs confirm that no File Manager was found. I'm not sure what the reason is.
Verify whether you have installed this https://play.google.com/store/search?q=files&c=apps indeed.
If so, verify whether all permissions for this app are granted or try reinstalling it, and restart your phone.

Everything already done. All approvals granted. Everything installed. Reset to factory settings. Only Files and Media Monkey installed, in that order. Several reboots. No success.

Hi,

Build 1213, currently rolling out to beta testers, should fix this issue. Can you confirm ?

Thanks!
