Album of the year

Post by ruebennase56 »

I thougt it would be nice if we share the most liked albums of the year. So here's my list:

Σtella - Up and Away
The music is much better then the cover suggests.

Mdou Moctar - Afrique Victime
Awesome guitarist

Lambchop - The Bible
Belive it or not. Lambchop once started with country music.

Eccentric Soul - The Shiptown Label
An example of an exellent series of soul albums by the "Numero Group Label". I think they want to publish every R&B and Soul song ever recorded.

I really love Mdou Moctar - Afrique Victime. Totally , this album is instrumentally insane- just sick.

"Absolute Elsewhere" by Blood Incantation. Anyone else hooked, or is it just me?

To Pimp a Butterfly (Kendrick Lamar, 2015). This album is not just music; it's a masterpiece manifesto. It redefined modern Hip Hop by brilliantly blending complex Jazz and Funk, delivering a raw and sophisticated piece of social and political commentary. It’s the ultimate example of an album succeeding as a cohesive, uncompromising, and culturally vital work of art.
