Adding a new CD will not work

I am tring to add a new CD to my MM library, which I have done before using tools and rip CD However MM seems not to see the new CD and puts up the data from the last CD added a few days ago. Any ideas?

You can either try removing cdplayer.ini from %APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\

or updating to the latest MediaMonkey 2024 release.

Hi I could not find %APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\ even with the search facility
Also on the latest version, should I go for regular build or debug build?

Putting %APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\ in the File Explorer location bar doesn't work on your system? Do you maybe have a Portable Install?

No it doesn't find anything I am on a desktop pc with windows 11
what about the version of the latest update?

You can try to use latest one from viewtopic.php?t=86639&sd=d as in MM 2024 there is number of CD RIP related fixes.

Regular build is fine, debug is only needed if we request a debug log.

Thanks Lowlander and Peke for your responses. I will load the latest version, but I just found a work around by hitting the "v" at the end of the location address box at the top, where the last CD meta data were showing in the address field. I got a whole drop down list of previous upload addresses with the generic at the bottom. Hitting the generic allowed me to load the next CD so all is good.
