auto-tag iaaue

Post by howesjohn »

A while back I deleted some gpucache files because the auto-tag was freezing up and not working. Apparently I deleted the wrong files. Ever since doing so, the image lookup shows the image at full size. To update the tags, I have to scroll to the far right of the full size image and check the update boxes. In other words, the auto-tag addon works but the formatting has been lost. Running the latest beta version.

Help on how to fix this is appreciated.

You can make the Artwork column less wide to reduce the image size in Auto-Tag.

Happens here also once a few months, then all column go very wide, and need to reset the possition on them every time.
Mostly happen during a mm crash when tagging processes is going on. Very annoying, it actually should just stay as it is, and not have to be manual done by the user, as the user did not manual change them to very wide.
I am using MediaMonkey on my Retro Systems, using the latest Beta build on Windows 11. Managing ~54k files

On recent MediaMonkey 2024 releases? I've not seen that myself.

yes the issue is occurring with the most recent beta. Also the popups, when there is a new version or when deleting a playing track, come up blank.with no text. As I indicated problem originated at the time when I deleted some gpucache files on my c drive. Program is installed on d drive.

Please rename persistent.json to persistent.json.old and start MediaMonkey. Do the problems persist?

Thanks to all. I made some changes and the issue miraculously went away. Everything is good now. I think it had to do with onedrive interfering with the program. Happy camper!
