Song length does not update in MM

Some of my songs have garbage that needs to be removed in a third party editing application. After shortening a song length, MM still reports the old length. As a result, when the end of the track is reached, the countdown timer starts counting up. Is there a way to "refresh" the song length in mm?

You'll need to rescan files to update them. Make sure the Date Modified on the files is changed, otherwise you'll need to adjust the default scanning settings.

You may want to do this with MediaMonkey 2024, as there have been some scanning fixes.

Note also: you can configure the scan settings to automatically scan detect changes to content (i.e. scan 'At startup and continuously').
