In MM4 under Tools, Scripts, there is a built-in script to export all playlists.
How do I do this in MM5?
I realize that MM5 is not following MM4 scripting so maybe this was overlooked...
If there isn't a way, perhaps an easy way to implement this would be as follows:
On the main "Playlists" node in the media tree, on right click show the option "Send To-->M3U Playlist" and it would go and create an M3U playlist file using the playlist name as the .M3U filename for every playlist in the Playlists tree.
Currently, ""Send To-->M3U Playlist" will appear only on playlist sub-nodes of the tree. It also prompts you for the name of .M3U file you want to create. It should default this to the name of the playlist you right clicked on...

The reports were added a few beta releases back. Make sure you have the latest Beta. Then look under File > Create Reports > Export all Playlists

Re: How do I export all playlists in MM5?
Found it. Works great. This will help me lots, thanks!
I still think it is a good suggestion to eventually add a right click, Send to->.M3U playlist file to increase the discover-ability of this feature and to match how you would export a single playlist.
thx

Re: [SOLVED] How do I export all playlists in MM5?
I want to export 1 playlist and its children to M3U files rather than *all* playlists in my library.
I just found this old thread when looking for something similar in the latest version of MM5.
Is the option shown in in the image below still available:
?
I can't see it in my version (v2024.0.0.3043).
Is there an equivalent option to export just the selected node and its children as playlists in the lates version of MM5??

Re: [SOLVED] How do I export all playlists in MM5?
Yes, it's still available. Presumably you're not doing a right click on the root Playlists node as is shown in the screenshot. There is no option to just export a Playlist and all it's child Playlists. It's either all or individual Playlists.

Re: [SOLVED] How do I export all playlists in MM5?
Ah yep - thanks Lowlander. I can see it's under a sub-menu in the right-click menu.
Would it be possible to implement a feature to export the selected node and it's children? There may be an existing request for this already on the backlog, but if not how would I go about raising it as a feature request?

Re: [SOLVED] How do I export all playlists in MM5?
These types of things are generally left up to Addon developers.
