Background framerate too low

Hello. I've been a big fan of MediaMonkey for years, and I'm in need of some technical assistance.
I'm currently running MediaMonkey Gold 5.0.4.2690

I noticed that when I click away from the MediaMonkey Window, the framerate drops to aprox 15 fps.
Is there any way to increase this number to 60 fps?

Reason why I need this: I'm running OBS to capture the MM window so I can show (on video/livestream) the current music title and the playback animation/EQ visualization:

OBS is recording video at 60fps and when I click away from the MM window, I can notice that the video capture of the animation becomes choppy. This is nothing major but I'm wondering if there's any quick workaround for this issue.

There is no user setting for this.
