I've reopened the issue.

I programmed MM to rescan at the moment I open the software.
The problem always occurs on the tab that is active, the other tabs are unaffected:

So I must limit the usage of the software until it finishes scanning or be on a tab that I don't want to be affected by the scan (Now Playing, for example).

OK, so generally if you are on the active tab in Grid view then during scan the images changes to broken links?
And once you switch to another tab and back then all is OK again?

Exactly as you said. If I switch to other tab while scanning, the broken links will appear on whatever tab I open.
Otherwise, they will only appear on the active tab.
