I've finally updated from MMW4 to MMW2024. Now, I've found that there is a very different mouse behavior in the new version. I've always had my mouse set to scroll 3 lines per scroll wheel click. In MMW4, scrolling in all areas moved by discrete lines that matched this number. Now I find that MMW2024 scrolls much differently and I haven't found anything in Options to set it to the same behavior as I had in MMW4.
Scrolling in MMW2024 is very difficult. A single click of the scroll wheel in the main track listing areas jumps about 13.5 lines. Dragging the scroll bar is even more difficult with even the tiniest movement causing large jumps. However, in long menu windows, a single scroll wheel click moves by 4 discrete lines. I've had to change to using the arrow keys instead of the mouse for small changes in focus. My mouse behaves as set in Windows 10 in all other applications.
Is there any way to change the mouse behavior in MMW2024 to match what was in MMW4 ?

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 2024, and Windows are you using. Is this in the List View?
I get about 3.5 line scroll with these settings on Windows 11.

Re: Mouse Issues
I currently have 3 different versions of MMW installed. The first is a full install of MMW4, the other two are MMW2024 versions as portable installs in different locations. Each install uses the same music files, but individual databases.
In addition to the details I posted previously, I also have 2 programs installed that affect mouse actions. WizMouse v1.7.0.3 allows me to scroll other open application windows without clicking on them. X-Mouse Botton Control v2.20.5 allows the thumb side buttons to be programmed for double click. I've used both of these applications for years without problems.
I have spent most of the afternoon carefully and repeatedly testing all three versions of MMW. The tables below show the number of lines scrolled by a single click of the mouse scroll wheel with WizMouse enabled/disabled. X-Mouse Botton Control had no effect enabled or disabled, so isn't listed. It looks like something in MMW related to or affecting scrolling changed between the 4 and 2024 versions.

Downloaded MMW 2024.2.0.3184 Debug and installed as portable. Performed same tests as other versions. Tried to send debug log, but got an exception error window. I was able to send the log of the exception error. Waiting for contact before continuing testing.
Re: Mouse Issues
You got an exception in DebugView? Otherwise you can attach the log anyway.

Re: Mouse Issues
Yes, I did when I tried to send the debug log. It didn't give me the option in the exception, so thought I'd wait to find out why I got that error before continuing.
What I did discover in the Debug version was that disabling WizMouse solved the scrolling problem, but only for that version. The same RC version still has the issue.
