trixmoto schreef:@Guest - could you enable the debug log and then send me the logfile to take a look at? It probably explains why the images are not being found.
@rovingcowboy - I'm not sure any of your post makes sense. The script uses the Google Images search, ----snipped cause i snipped my post --------.
google? sh..... t i read amazon? must have been tired sorry about that. but the part about you being one of the best script authors here is great and makes sense doesn't it?

You'll have to register the VB runtime lib with windows 7 (you can find it online, and a specific version might be somewhere in this thread), once you do that error will go away and everything runs great. Tip: make sure your registering it as an admin!

Installed great! Thanks, now I'm guessing I've got the same VB error that the other guy had.

I'm using the 4.0 version since this afternoon, but no matter what I try, I don't get results from the Google images source. Tried several Images Sizes, but no luck.
When I'm searching Google Images by hand from my browser I do get results.
Any ideas?

Same VB error here.
Windows 7 64 Enterprise(Ultimate) Edition.
I also installed the VB Runtime library and restarted MM, but it didnt work.
The preview of the images works, but after clicking on "Save selected" the errormessage appears:
"The MSInet component cannot be found...".
Any ideas ? Ireally like this great script ....if it would work.

For those folk who are finding that their cover art is not being saved, I have one possible explanation
If you look in the bottom left hand corner of MM, above the status bar, it gives you a count of how many files need tagging. If you close MM (or it crashes) before this tagging is complete, the artwork will not be tagged to the music files. The tagging takes a while for me, because my music is on the other end of a wireless connection, on a NAS
Thanks for this, trixmoto. If I had a uterus I would bear your children. As it is, I'll be sure to donate something. This script has a few gremlins, as you would expect with anything interacting with non-proprietary web pages. But it sure shits all over finding each album cover manually

Thank you very much - hopefully I'll remove a few more of those gremlins in the next version.

Do you have any ideas fixing the VB error ?
Maybe its more a VB problem than a scriptproblem - bit re-installing VB6 does not work.
Workaround for Windows 7

I found a workaround for all guys with Windows 7 and the "MSI Component" problem with Batch Art Finder:
Click right on the media monkey start Icon and set the Compatibility Mode to "Windows XP Service Pack 3" , then start MM.
It works !
After saving the covers with Batch Art Finder you can remove the Compatibility Mode.
Thanks again for this great script, trixmoto

Wonder if I can set my XP SP3 compatibility mode to Windows 7 and get it to work
