I have files named like this:
0159-Clarinet Concerto in A major
0160-Aus dem Ludwigsburger Schloss Andante
0197-Clarinet Concerto in A major
1198-Divertimento K.188 - I-46s
I want to end up with these Titles:
Clarinet Concerto in A major
Aus dem Ludwigsburger Schloss Andante
Clarinet Concerto in A major
Divertimento K.188 - I-46s
And these Track #:
0159
0160
0197
1198
Is this possible please? I've been trying many combinations but so far no joy.
I got the Title with this:
<Skip:5><Title:>
But how to get Track # ?

Re: How to Auto-Tag these filenames?
Doesn't <Track#>-<Title> do the trick?

Re: How to Auto-Tag these filenames?
Hi Lowlander, thanks, that does it!
It's actually an assigned sequence number I generated in another tool (Bulk Rename Utility). Don't know what I was doing wrong before but <Track#>-<Title> now works fine. Does MM always assume that any successive numbers at the start of a filename constitute the Track # field?
BTW (it's been a long time since I used this clever Auto-Tag feature) can you briefly remind me how those three check boxes are to be used or interpreted please?
Happy New Year!

Re: How to Auto-Tag these filenames?
It is separating on - so before is Track# after is title.
Sorry, I haven't used MediaMonkey 4 in a long time, so I'm not sure what checkboxes you're referring to.

Re: How to Auto-Tag these filenames?
Of course, embarrassingly obvious now that I remember it!
And the purpose of the checkboxes also now recalled, namely allowing for selective implementation when multiple tracks selected; or All.
