Options > Library > Search > Search current view
Set: Scrolls to match
Please focus/place the first search result in the top of the screen and not on the bottom!
For example, if you search for "Elton John", than you will definitely not see 1 song of Elton John and 20 of "Elli Goulding" (above).

I can duplicate this on 2531
I am in List By Album view, but it is the same in other views.
Search for something that is off screen ... ie. something that is lower.
It does scroll to the correct row, but it scrolls the screen so the matched line is at the bottom of the centre panel.
Scrolling so that it is at the top would be more logical and more useful.
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
