Issues with finding duplicate music files

Post by elsmandino »

Hi there.

I have just added all my music files (which are an absolute mess) and, as expected, quite a few duplicates were found (via the Dulicate Content node).

I deleted all the duplicates and then clicked on Duplicate Titles and found a whole load of further duplicates.

However, I noted that some of these were identical tracks.

Any idea why these were not picked up as duplicate content?

Duplicate content shows only files with exactly same audio PCM. Probably one of the file has lossy quality and thus the audio stream differs?
Or are you saying they are bit-same copies/duplicates?

Also, were all files analyzed for duplicates? Duplicate Content will show a prompt if this isn't the case.

Hi there.

All files have indeed been analysed for duplicates.

Here is an example - I have listened to both tracks and they are identical. The length, bitrate and size are, as well.

Please open a Support Ticket and share the 2 copies so the developers can analyze them.
