Hi
Installed MM5 and now cannot play anything. MM4 was simply sweet and it has been my default player for many years. However, now
I get this error:
Playback failed: multi-zone cannot decode <local mp3.mp3>
What IS the issue I am missing here? What is multi-zone? Did I enable it? I cannot find any info anywhere (even from Dr. Google and Mr. DuckDuck)
playback failed: multi-zone cannot decode

Re: playback failed: multi-zone cannot decode
You enabled this as Play To. Under Tools > Options > Streaming set Play back to to Internal Player and you should be able to play.

Wooof! Many thanks Lowlander... That has driven me nuts for a while...
Search/Help should at least *mention* multi-zone!

Re: playback failed: multi-zone cannot decode
You might probably accidentally switch to multi-zone by clicking the cast icon on the player and selecting multi-zone?
Re: playback failed: multi-zone cannot decode
Lowlander, thanks for linking the above documentation, I finally learned how to cast to my Chromecast enabled Polk Soundbar.
The bluetooth from my laptop to the speakers is basically unuseable, and all I could find on the internet was that this is basically a weakness of windows 10 bluetooth implementation.
Bluetooth from my android phone to the speakers works just fine.
So, even though the polk speaker does not show up as a device in windows, somehow mediamonkey finds it under streaming, DLNA settings.
This appears to be new in MM5, and is a great new feature.

Yes, Chromecast support is new in MediaMonkey 5.
