DNLA server problem

Post by MabelVanA »

Using MM5 as dnla-server (windows 10) and MM-A (on Android 9) as client, I experience this annoying behaviour: when I try playing a track from an album it gives the error 'skipping track, codec missing'. It then goes on to play the next track. This happens whereever I start in the 'playlist', e.g. I choose track 4 and it skipps to track 5. I choose track 3 it skipps to track 4. Thus, I am able to play all tracks, except track 1.
Some more info: As far as I can see this only happens with FLAC files (which is almost always in my case). I seem to remember that with v.4 I had the error-message sometimes (sometimes not) but then it went on to skip all subsequent tracks, which was even more annoying. At least v.5 is more consistent and allows playing most tracks :-)
