Hi,
I removed a folder that I initially used to have scanned by MMW5 from a list of folders to be scanned. The MP3 files don't exist anymore and I don't want them to be part of the MMW database anymore because of that. I performed a re-scan but the songs are still part of the database but, of course, they are not being found any longer. "Datenbank pflegen" (probably called "Sanitize database" in English) did not help either.
So, how can I get rid of the orphan database entries?

In your collection, check the entries in the archive node: "location"
You may be able to delete the entry here.

Thank you for the hint. That worked.

Scanning does not remove removed files, however you can have it prompt that files included in the scanned folders (so if the files location isn't being scanned this won't happen) are no longer available by enabling Remove unavailable items: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... cans_Files That will then give you the option to have them removed.
