Application window not remembering last size & position

Has anyone else since the last beta update, suffered from the main MediaMonkey application window not remembering the last position and size on the Windows desktop?

So whenever MediaMonkey opens, it appears in a much smaller default window size and location on the desktop?

A small but irritating new bug that means you have to reposition and resize every time it opens.

No, it always remembers where and what size it was. What Build (Help > About) and do you have multiple monitors and/or non-default DPI/text size settings in Windows.

MM version: 5.0.3.2603
Multiple monitors: yes
Non-default DPI/text: no (I'm using default settings)

Never had this problem before with MM before.
Nothing changed on my system, i.e. always had multiple monitors.
Haven't changed any display settings, resolution / DPI etc.

Only thing changed was just the installation of the latest MM build, and now it doesn't remember where it was or what size the windows was.

Not sure if MM is handling these settings itself on app close, but it's not getting it right sometimes since updating.

Yes, this started again (it had been fixed previously) after the 5.0.2.2531 update. I've posted in these threads https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 9&start=45 and https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... p?t=100900. No response from devs each time.

I'm unable to reproduce on 2603 with a multi-monitor setup.

This has started happening again guys.

What was the fix last time?

This is the only app I have this issue with. Is something clearing the saved values for this? Maybe it reads and sets the window position incorrectly, leaving invalid coordinate in the settings, or maybe it can't be read on the next launch?

It's just really frustrating having to reposition the apps window all the time. No other apps have this annoyance.

Do you do quick Restart of MM app or possibly change Screen Resolution or maybe have multi monitors?

Sorry for asking, but this behavior is not normal and I can't replicate unless something influence MM start/close position save.

FYI I for example have same issue with Skype and some other Apps that simply do not remember that they were started maximized before close. Which does not mean it should not be fixed for MM.

Why can't MMW remember its windows position after exiting the program ?

This is very annoying to reposition the windows everytime again..

What's the fix please ?

No quick restart of app, nor do I kill the app from the task manager. It's always a graceful app close from the menus or the system tray icon.

I have multiple monitors yes (can't be an uncommon thing these days?). MM is always running on the main monitor for me.

I'm not the only person it seems with this weird behaviour. I don't suffer this same issue with any other apps on my PC.
