Does a Collection apply criteria to all drives?

It appears so, as there seems no way to select the drives in the dialog. But that means that backups (daily and weekly regulars, plus one-offs while working, to insure against accidents) will result in many duplicates. Deleting and other editing becomes much more difficult.

A Collection applies to your full Library. With Criteria you can Filter on Path and if you don't scan the backups into the MediaMonkey Library in the first place you'd not see them in Collections either.

Many thanks, I'd missed that 'File/Pathname' option. Makes a big difference.
