I understand shuffle (either enabled using the button that appears on album art or using the quick shuffle button on track list) will play songs choosing the next one at random from the play queue. This is the same behaviour as on the desktop app (one I personally dislike but if that's the way it's intended, fine).
However, on the desktop we have the option to queue something and then choose Randomize list, which randomizes the play queue and actually gives visibility as to what is gonna play next
Does the app have a similar feature? Could not find it anywhere.
Randomize list on Android App

Re: Randomize list on Android App
Those are separate options. On the Now Playing it's Shuffle, on a file list the Play Shuffle adds files in a random order to the Now Playing (thus not requiring Shuffle to be enabled to get random playback).
There is no option to randomize the list in Now Playing after the files have been added.
