HI. I've just changed phones from an S7 to an S22.
Got it connected via USB set as "USB for file transfer". Windows sees it fine. However it doesn't appear in MM. I've been to portable device sync but it's not there.
any tips?
MM sees various other servers I have in the house no problem.....
Any tips?

Hi,
Yes, Samsung updated USB drivers (for newer devices) sometimes are not picked by Windows update
See https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ync-fails/ on how to install and download Samsung updated drives.

Re: MMW5 won't see Samsung s22
Thanks for your reply.
I had the OEM samsung drivers already installed but I reinstalled them again from this link
https://developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb
Windows is seeing it fine, it's just MM that isn't
I've also gone into windows firewall and made sure MM is allowed.
Do you have any further ideas?

Are you sure the device isn't disabled in MediaMonkey? Browse all devices (show all) in Devices & Services to check this.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. No, it's not showing up in devices.
At the top under devices it says "no devices configured. You can connect a device via USB or Wi-fi"
Nothing under "storage and services"
Then 4 items under "media servers."
If this helps, the S22 has no SD card in it, it only has internal memory (there's no SD card facility on the S22)
Also it doesn't show up in windows with a drive letter, but instead like this:

Hi,
I am almost certain that it is a driver issue, can you please open support ticket so that we can go in more details?

Just in case this is helpful for anyone else; I followed this :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_HyIvVTTlM
When I got to the 2min 6 sec mark, I had two identical options. I chose the bottom one and it worked.
So I don't know if the driver was sort of "stuck" or whether the second one was just a better option but anyway, it worked!
