Re: Where are the log files stored?
Hi,
Before they are sent you can locate them in Same folder here MM5.DB is, or if you use portable MM then in same folder as MM.EXE or Portable subfolder. Extension of Crash log file is .EL

Re: Where are the log files stored? - Log file: problems "Send logs"
Hello Pavle,
See photo: did you receive the file "MediaMonkeyEngine.el"? I pressed "Send logs".
Download-Link: https://www.file-upload.net/download-14 ... ne.el.html
And then this happened: download the Capture 01.wmv file and you will recognize it.
(Playing time: 8 minutes)
I had to abort the process with Taskkmanager.
After that, no application worked - no music, no ACDSee Pro 6, no MS-EXCEL, no MS-Word
Had to restart laptop.

Hi,
Hmm Interesting, but I can't replicate.
Asking others to analyze.

Re: Where are the log files stored?
Hello Pavle,
I have now done the following:
1. Uninstall MM5 via "Apps & Features"
2. Windows Explorer: %appdata% folder MediaMonkey5 deleted
3. Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files (x86) - MediaMonkey 5 folder deleted
4. RESTART laptop
5. MM5.0.4.2653 installed
6. Start MM5 - adopt settings from MM4
7. Reboot MM5
8. Play multiple songs
9. Restart MM5
10. Help > Debug .. Send logs
Result: the same behavior as seen in the video.
Maybe this will help you.

After that ( 19 Jun 2022, 08:38), no application worked - no music, no ACDSee Pro 6, no MS-EXCEL, no MS-Word
Had to restart laptop.
Next Test:
1. Uninstall MM5 via "Apps & Features"
2. Windows Explorer: %appdata% folder MediaMonkey5 deleted
3. Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files (x86) - MediaMonkey 5 folder deleted
4. RESTART laptop
5. MM5.0.4.2653 installed
6. Start MM5 - NO settings from MM4
7. successively several ACCESS Voalitions
8. MM5 no longer usable.
======================================================
Clean reinstall
1. Uninstall MM5 via "Apps & Features"
2. Windows Explorer: %appdata% folder MediaMonkey5 deleted
3. Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files (x86) - MediaMonkey 5 folder deleted
4. RESTART laptop
5. MM5.0.4.2653 installed
6. Start MM5 - adopt settings from MM4
7. Reboot MM5
8. Play multiple songs
9. Restart MM5
10. Installation of various AddOns
I think it's enough for me. Stay away from "Send logs" and everything works perfectly..
I am very curious about your analysis.

Re: Where are the log files stored?
FWIIW I have just tested the "Send Logs" in the previous release, and then in the Alpha that you are running.
In both cases it dispatched a log, and then returned the MM5 UI to me ok.
It does look fairly disconcerting during this process, ie. there is a fairly lengthy period where MM5 looks broken (unresponsive, title bar goes white, and a Window message about MM5 not responding, etc) .. happens for about a minute, but eventually MM5 came back to me, and did not require a restart.

Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.

Re: Where are the log files stored?
Still unable to find the actual reason, why when user do Manual send logs, our Log engine crashes sometimes and take main MM app alongside as it can't resume normal operation after it sends to Windows command to resume normal APP behavior.
